What are English children thought about Ireland and the Irish in history cles in school?

It depends which history sylabus you do. At my school we learned about ctholic emancipation (Britain and Ireland), Daniel O'Connell and nut much else, but it was taught as part of the European History sylabus alog with the unification of Italy.
