Organ Donor: Is this possible?

Perhaps many organs could possibly be donated but medicine has developed procedures only for certain transfers. There would be little reason to transfer an appendix but an entire face was recently transferred. Only parts of eyes are commonly transferred such as the lens. Usually, medications must be taken thereafter to prevent rejection of foreign tissues and this likely limits transfers to vital organs.
