Is it normal to be so indecisive about life at the age 19?

I think one may not come across such problems, if he goes for periodical mental overhaul or brain washing done by a wise person. One should believe and select a Mentor of ones own choice and listen to the mentors words obediently and scrupulously in letter and spirit to avoid such pitfalls in life.
